5**. Pangea ID & QR Functionality:**
- Pangea ID Creation: Every user gets a unique visual card in the app that prominently displays their QR code. This digital ID is tied to their Pangea account and the data they've chosen to share.
- QR Code Validity (TBD): The QR code generated for the user remains valid for a duration of one month. After this period, the QR code becomes inactive and cannot be scanned successfully by businesses.
- Business QR Scanning: When a business scans the user's Pangea QR code, a series of events are set in motion:
- Real-time Notification: A notification instantly pops up on the user's device, informing them of the specific data that the business wants to access.
- User Consent: Users are given the power to either approve or decline this data access request, ensuring they always have the final say on who gets to see their data.
- Digital Wallet Update (TBD): When the QR code expires and after regenerating a QR code, if users wish to update their Pangea ID in their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, they'd need an active internet connection. This ensures the latest QR code is securely saved and ready for use at participating businesses without the need to launch the Pangea app.
