Quick overview of documents scanning and identity verification flow

  1. Once Client is redirected to the document scanning and identity approval flow, they should follow the next steps:
    1. Selection of country of residence
    2. Selection of the document type that they are going to upload
    3. Document scanning
      1. Passport
      2. ID card
      3. Driving license
      4. Singpass
    4. Real-time face recognition and verification
    5. Review of scanned information
    6. Update of scanned information
    7. Upload additional documents (without verification)
    8. Approval and sharing of scanned information
  2. Client should access pages configured as stated here

County of residence selection

  1. When the client expands the country selector, relevant list of all up-to-date countries is presented in alphabetical order from A to Z (source: the same list as in KBY-AI)
  2. Client should be able start typing country name to filter out necessary options
  3. County selector is single-choice
  4. When Client selects a particular country, then corresponding document types are displayed:
    1. Supported document types per country:

      Country Document types
      Singapore • Passport
      • ID card
      • Driving license
      • Singpass
      Other countries • Passport
      • ID card
      • Driving license
    2. This list will be updated over time

  5. When Client selects another country from the list, the document types are refreshed based on their availability

Document type selection

  1. Client should be able to choose one of the suggested document types
    1. None of them are chosen by default
  2. Once the document type is chosen, Client is redirected to the corresponding document scanning flow:
    1. Passport scanning flow
    2. ID card scanning flow
    3. Driving license scanning flow
    4. Singpass scanning flow
  3. Client should be able to be back to the country selection step

Scanning via NFC (Passport)

  1. When Client chooses to scan Passport document type and the passport has an RFID chip, then Client goes through the following flow:
    1. Client gets clear directions of how to scan their document (see mockups)
    2. Client taps ‘scan’
    3. Scanning interface appears ready to capture the data
    4. Client scans machine readable zone (MRZ) in the passport using their camera
    5. Client receives the next instructions (see mockups) on how to scan using NFC technology
    6. Client puts passport near the device as directed
    7. All information is scanned
    8. Success message (see mockups)
